Fireflies in the Prairies by *Empyrisan

Description
Berkeley sittin' on rock, holding out a lamp in the twilight and talking to a bunch of fireflies... because that's what he does for the most part. I love him a lot and I want to draw more of this pansy kitty cat. 
Now a little bit a about him...
Berkeley didn't always lived out in the praries; used to lived in a congested city as a regular calico cat before he eventually got killed after surviving several accidents. His soul went to Heaven and he became an angel and assigned a job to protect mortal beings (yes, guys... we all become furries when we go to the Afterlife).
Berkeley can fly, prefers to do so during the day and can hide his wings and halo. He can shape shift into his previous regular cat form, a sparrow, a griffin, and a human.
He's terribly afraid of hospitals, faints at the sight of blood, listens to upbeat jazz music and is lead to believe that the orange spots he has are permanent orange juice stains.
Lighting effects were a huge pain to do and yes, I cheated with the fireflies and stars and used a brush. I am ashamed. XD

Edit 5/17/2011 - Holy crap, a Daily Deviation for this piece I've done nearly a year ago! Can't say how happy this has made me, knowing that when I signed in I had over 1,000 deviations in inbox involving faves for not only this picture, but also for the rest of my gallery as well! Feels good to get some recognition!
Glad Berkeley got some love and that some of you are into the whole furry transformation when you die! XD
On a side note, I am aware that male calico cats are extremely rare, but I do have a thing for calico animals and that's why I made Berkeley one. C:
