_{The chapter opener illustration for the prologue of Arkaenalan, my webcomic that I launched over a week ago on Doomsday! You can check it out on SmackJeeves here!

This is a complete recreation of the previous version I made last year. I'll explain more about this piece some other time, perhaps when the prologue is complete, but maybe I can answer questions in the meantime if anyone's curious.

Here's a bit of ARK trivia:

- The colossal, white-feathered dragon spirits that I occasionally draw are informally referred to as "Eudaemons".

- "Animorbus" is a term for soul-sickness and considered to be a very serious health condition in Ark.

It is very beatiful picture, it has a great sense of movement and light but I find it very hard to grasp the anatomy of this beast.

HNG I'm so sorry I don't comment more, but every time I see your art in my messages I am filled with a sense of awe and love because the amount of DETAIL you put in just lkdfmsdlk Man it's awesome :'D I guess sometimes I just don't know what to say so I hit fave and run off

But this is really neat, touching and sad of both at once. Looking at this piece, and the one from last year- holy shit have you gotten better. I love your style and the way you draw all things as well<3 Fricken beautiful, this deserves more comments OTL
